OUR PROGRAM

Our program offers the court an additional resource by giving the person charged with an offense the opportunity to accept responsibility in an attempt to repair the harm caused to the impacted party and community. We use restorative justice to identify needs, explore harm and address the root causes of an offense.

Together, the responsible party, impacted party and community create a plan for moving forward in a positive way.

JCRJD is another tool in the toolbox for reaching justice.

OUR MISSION

Juvenile Court Restorative Justice Diversion (JCRJD) aims to keep at-risk youth in school and out of court by offering a community based restorative justice diversion program designed to empower impacted parties, heal communities affected by crime and address the underlying causes of conflict.
